23 March 2010: New pilot sites for the Common Assessment Framework for Adults are announcedAdditional demonstrator sites to develop and test improved information sharing across health, social care and wider community support services were announced by Care Services Minister Phil Hope. Guidance on Eligibility Criteria for Adult Social Care, England 2010The revised guidance aims to set social care eligibility criteria firmly within the context of both the new direction of policy established by Putting People First, and more generally within a broader theme of public service reform.
