These self-assessment tools can help partners within and across organisations plan local commissioning priorities and work towards agreed mutual targets.
The tools can be used as a starting point and then to check progress over a period of time. Data generated through a standard scoring methodology shows different degrees of consensus.
The tools are quick and easy to use, and give results in graphic format to highlight areas requiring attention. There is advice on support available to act on the results, such as external facilitation from CSIP.
You can access all the readiness tools at www.readiness-tools.com and watch a video podcast explaining how to use them.

Joint strategic needs assessment tool

This helps assess the readiness of local systems to carry out a joint strategic needs assessment of their population and progress in delivering a JSNA.
Networks readiness tool
(CSIP)
This helps assess the readiness of local systems to develop a network approach to service delivery, including clarifying what is meant by a 'network' and how this will differ from traditional models.
Integrated team monitoring and assessment tool
(CSIP)
This helps assess the effectiveness of integrated teamworking, identifying areas of difficulty relating to internal functions and external factors.
